David Gregory the host of NBC's flagship program, Meet the Press on Sunday mornings, is set to give the keynote address for The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB).
Per Think Progress, NFIB is one of the Republicans' leading advocacy groups.
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), which calls itself “the voice of small business,” is one of the Republican party’s strongest allies. The group spent over $1 million on outside ads in the 2010 campaign — all of it backing Republican House and Senate candidates (and, Bloomberg News reported last month, “another $1.5 million that it kept hidden and said was exempt” from disclosure requirements). The group is the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit against the Obamacare law and bankrolled state governments’ challenges to the lawKarl Rove and John Boehner are also set to speak.
Great company for David, don't you think?
You may remember this gem:
David Gregory can dance with whomever he pleases but he cannot continue to be the host of Meet The Press, pretending to be an unbiased moderator even while so blatantly supporting one of the two major political parties.
If he continues to host this program then NBC has some explaining to do.
This is the same NBC which fined, criticized and hastened the departure of Keith Olbermann from their network because he contributed to a Democratic contender.
