The Mustard Loudmouth may have bitten off a bit more than he can chew this time around. As I hear it, big things are planned for tomorrow. In the meantime, Stevie Wonder has decided to show the way.
“We must take care of each other, and this planet. If we don’t, we could lose the ultimate video game of life,” Wonder said, referencing an exchange of insults between Trump and Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
“Weapons are real and rhetoric is dangerous,” Wonder said.
Mr. Wonder also weighed in on the effort by Republicans and Trump to deprive millions of people of health insurance coverage by sending a shout out to Jimmy Kimmel and his baby:
And we are rolling!
The first baseball player takes a knee.
Oakland Athletics catcher Bruce Maxwell became the first Major League Baseball player to kneel during the national anthem, doing so prior to Saturday night's home game against the Texas Rangers.
Maxwell had his hand over his heart while facing the flag as the anthem was played. Teammate Mark Canha placed his hand on Maxwell's shoulder in a show of support.
Thank you, Mr. Wonder!
