A man who fired a single shot at the murderer’s vehicle was found guilty of attempted murder and faces up to 20 years in prison.
A Florida man was found guilty Friday of attempted second-degree murder, stemming from a 2015 road rage incident involving George Zimmerman, a court spokeswoman said.
Matthew Apperson, 27, also was found guilty of shooting into a vehicle and aggravated assault with a firearm, Michelle Kennedy, spokeswoman for the 18th Judicial Circuit, said.
This is some twisted sh*t. Mr. Apperson said that two tangled before when the murderer threatened him with a gun. But despite that, the jury chose to believe the word of a proven liar.
To add insult to grievous injury, on hearing of the verdict, the murderer’s brother tweeted, “Justice for George!” Can you even believe this?!
